In addition I would also like to say a few words about what Veristat really is, and what sets us apart from other contract research organizations (CROs).  Veristat was founded upon the idea that clinical research is fundamentally a scientific endeavor, and that the basic tenets of science must be followed to ethically and validly design, conduct, manage, analyze and report the results of clinical studies.  Unlike many CROs, we are a mid-sized company with a partnership approach presenting us with many advantages over our competitors.  One of these advantages is our unique ability to become integrated into our client internal teams, almost as though we were part of the client company.  This is something that many CROs cannot do, because of the bureaucracy that inevitably accompanies larger size.  Another advantage is our ability to rapidly adapt to company’s and client’s policies or even its structure, to address both internal organizational issues and changes in the rapidly evolving arena of clinical research.
